      Dr.Husta,

the photo was probably made from original glass negative, which was for sale circa 10 years ago.
Here a picture from then time, which I found in my computer archives:

          Cuff Title

The cuff title appears to be hand embroidered. Interesting.

Thankx for posting those photos, Onkel HanSS

This one is not RH related, but a nice SS Studio photo none-the-less...note this fellows very large square field repair above his right breast pocket, and that the tunic overall fits him like an oversized, padded football uniform....

(I'll show why soon, but would like to hear what others have to say first)....

Note also the replaced part (maybe was a WH eagle here) on the jacket...

Strange tunic as well notice the straight pocket flaps like an upgraded M43 ?

Maybe a " studio" tunic used by the photographer. Same background on the pics. J

My opinion is that they may be brothers , as the hairstyles are different & the soldier on our left has a shirt on under the tunic but the one on the right does not & also there is a slight difference's in facial features . Also they have both one the EK2 , but only one has won the PAB

So would the photographer be that bothered if one or both of them was wearing the pab ?

Probably so, upgraded M43 with false pleats added. Have noticed this quite often along with the other typical modifications of shortened skirts, sewn down lower pockets and addition of pointed dark green collar. It was all about fashion.
