SS NCO shoulder boards

Guys,
I would like to get me some new SS boards, I found these on estand, what do you think about them? I guess they are OK, right?
Just an additional question, what do you think about the rank pips, do they look period applied, I'm not sure if there are signs which could tell that?

Is there any sign under the pips where the cloth shows the typical wear?

The seller send me additional photos and told me that there are some small trace of rust on the wool under the leg of the pips and some dust under the pip
