    "Lot Nr. 6268
    Estate of Hans Schaale, porcelain thrower at the Allach porcelain factory near Munich - photos from the production sites and the models

    26 photos from the workshops and the property of the SS factory Allach. The pictures in the sizes 6.5 x 8.5 to 12 x 16 cm. The reverse mostly with postcard division or photo paper stamp "Agfa-Lupex" and "Gevaer-Ridax", some of the photos damaged. The pictures show the various production steps such as the making of the models, the kiln chamber, further subsequent treatment and painting of the figures. Clearly visible in the shelves several copies of the Rampant Horse (no. 74), SS Flag Bearer (no. 42), Yule Lantern, Seydlitz Cuirassier Officer (no. 17), Life Guard Hussar (no. 93), Bückeburg woman (no. 45). Extraordinary rare photo material with partially unknown or very rare models.
    Also enclosed are documents from H. Schaale's possession, his vaccination certificates, wedding certificate, diplomas, confirmation of the registration of his apartment in Friedenstr. 69 in Dachau. Tribunal verdict issued by the city of Dachau. With original price list from February 1941 of the PMA, Dachau factory (good condition) and a product directory for 1938/39 (incomplete, damaged). Also 24 photos from H. Schaale's family and private environment. They depict some of the objects offered for sale at this auction, such as the Hessian farmer couple.
    The factory was founded in 1936. It produced high quality porcelain after models by noted designers such as Theodor Kärner, Karl Diebitsch, Franz Nagy, Adolf Röhring and other artists. The buildings 52 and 53 located on the compound of the SS camp in Dachau housed the Allach production facilities. A unique opportunity to purchase yet unpublished picture material of the SS factory from the possession of H. Schaale."
