Converted Heer cap for sure. The black band is a terrible fit and I bet there are some extra holes under that cork strip.

Some work has been done there ... and the Viro mark is under a strange angle .

by the way visor of sure original but you must check what happened.

wartime restoration of liner (it seems a liner used on 44/45 on gabardine m43 cap) ?
