SS Kleidermarke

I can buy this SS Kleidermarke but I didn`t kow much about these types of Kleidermarken.Do you know if it is an original one and how much can I give for this one?

Looks to be exactly the same as other originals I've seen (slightly worse condition) can't comment on values I'm afraid.

Didn't know what it was to start with and then found them all over the place and most marked SS-T.ST.

Some say original laundry tags or similar.

I think they are fantasy items.

I was lead to believe they are property tags and show the ownership of the garment back to the Sturm/Standarte that issued it and that the number would be recorded by the unit or on the soldier's documents ?

I'm open as always to correction ?
