      It looks like HvW is not on the picture. #2 is not him. And i'm not sure if Klinf was in Mons at that time.

        Great photos, Christian, thanks for posting!

        Here's some interesting info on Wessel during the Ardennes Offensive, if you haven't seen it before. http://dev.wehrmacht-awards.com/foru...ighlight=belbe

        I'm more interested in that battalion when it was SS-501 with Tiger IIs, but I'll go look through my photos. I don't recognize any of the others in the photos right off the bat; I don't think von Westernhagen is in any of those photos.

              From Januar till April 1944 the battalion was located in Mons, Belgium.

                A friend of mine gave me some infornations - one of them could be Ustuf. Hannes Philipsen and one Oscha Thomas Amselgruber.
