SS/RZM helmet or Drp Ang?

I am seeking an answer to what came first, the SS/RZM helmet or, the DRP Ang commercial M18? Any help would be most appreciated. Cheers!

I believe the commercial helmets dates back to the twenties and the RZM is around 33-34 ish.. Billbert

Do you know roughly when in 33 did the RZM helmets come into effect? I have a Drp Ang commercial SS helmet and was wanting to know more info on both the RZM and Drp examples.

One of the helmet gurus can help..I have knowledge but limited off the top of my head..very rare to find original rzm..most wound up repainted to Luftschutz and Fire Dept... Billbert
