I can't comment on SS tunics, they are not in my collecting road and so predictably I am not qualified to comment. That said, I see a lot of deducing and assuming in this thread, and subsequent lapses in the logic of both parties.
Regarding Peter all I can say is that he has always been a gentleman with me, I have purchased some very interesting things from him and I have not found fault with the items that I do know about and are routinely for sale in his site. As a bonus, he's a nice guy with lots of interesting stories. That is my personal assessment.
It was correctly mentioned that just about every single dealer will have detractors, some founded, some not so much. I am careful about what is allowed on this site because I know that there are those who concatenate stories out of nowhere when a few neurons slide down into the folds of their brains and fire together. This site, as most dealers, has been the target from time to time. You just have to sit back laugh, as most people will.
I have stated my opinion of Peter above. That is not to disqualify the arguments here, because even if I am comfortable with him you as a potential customer have to be comfortable with what you're buying. You should NEVER blindly buy, you should always know what you are buying and be comfortable with it. Buying from a reputable source hedges your bets and is the prudent course of action, but that does not mean blind purchasing.
I think this thread has ran it's course. Ideas were freely expressed, but stewing in it will go only down the path of personal attacks. The ideas are and will remain here, the members will judge.
