It sure looks to be small, very small.... that may just be the way it is folded and photographed? does it measure up to a size 56 as it is marked?
I am far from an expert but am not liking the eagle and TK very much..... wonder what others will have to say? the TK looks like it is trying to be a M1 52.

Well the dents in the middle of the branchcolour are a dead give away, have you checked the pasteboard innersight of the visor for extra holes ( besides the ones that are already there for the skull )?Comment

I don't think its re-banded, just had a Heer wreath applied to it at one time, which is not uncommon for bring-backs. I think I can see the outline of the wreath on the velvet band. A glue repair isn't "always" a bad sign, as they are often found on original caps. A faker skilled enough to re-band a cap does not have to use glue...Comment
