    14th Galizien Division sleeve shields

    recently got these two bevo shields, which appear to be different variations. Hard shields to find for 14th SS division.

      Thanks Bob, but I believe the one on the right is a variant but original. I have a reproduction and it is totaly different.

        Here is a comparison with the fake in the middle, and then next to each respective shield. There are several differences compared to the repro.

          Notice several differences among the repro. Also in this variant there is a blue trim around the edge of the shield.

          then the repro next to the one I think it was based on.

            Is this the same shield from member Lorenz medical officers tunic? There is a nice comparision photo of the blue trim and wear pattern in post number 43.

                      Just came across this thread. Both shields are original. The taller verison is made on black, the shorter is made on field-grey backing and is slightly shorter. There is also a variation made on white backround too. Wonderful examples Jerry!
