IF it is a wrong un it's a VERY disturbing development as 'they' have perfected the band weave and also the salt & pepper reverse .... I would say it's a very fine original.

I feel happy for a collector getting home such an rare and nice item.
Is there any period pics of this Flatwire ct in use? Would have been nice to see.

no question for me, original.

If some one is rich he can set up one machine that still exists.
When the rich person is smart he should make some rare ones and should produce only 5 pcs each. For my view the flatwire style was so fare never reproduced (I talk about the original examples).
