That is my favorite of all SS eagles. The aluminum M1/52 eagles came with three different prong attachment methods. Also, notice that the beak is curved downward more than usual. This is a feature that is typically only found on this exact variation. Super nice!

      M1/52 eagles

Very helpful to learn that there are 3 methods of prong attachments for the m1/52 eagles. Could you please describe them. Thanks Steve

Correct me if I'm wrong , but I think they are - on ALU Deschler eagles :

          Horizontal crimps
Round holes , tight with based prongs actually crimped in
Round holes , wide with prongs soldered in

One of the variations has a fuller, round cone shaped crimp like those found found on most aluminum heer and police eagles. The third variation has box crimps that are similar to those found on the aluminum M1/52 skulls.

Ok I stand corrected,,after closer look, there the same as the first one shown, they appeared round because they were cut and twisted off,,

Chris , you are right - " cone shaped crimp " does sound much better than " round hole , tight " .. !
Somehow it already felt weird when I typed it ..

Here is my only example. It has the round sockets, (not the cones).
Again, this variation has a rounder beak on the front of the eagle, while the other two variations will show the standard Deschler beak, (at least all that I have ever encountered did). Certainly a difficult eagle to find, regardless of the attachment variation.
