    Jewish star

    Hi all,

    please your opinions to this jewish star. Was found in a old house in Sudetenland few days ago.

    Any opinions welcome, I did not have such item in my hands before.

    Star of David

    Extreme caution must be taken with these and other Holocaust artifacts. Stars of David have been faked or reproduced for movies for decades. Provenance is very critical, as is an in hand examination before any opinion can be made.

    Also, the source has to be considered. How was this discovery reported?

    See if there is a Holocaust museum near you. If so, a visit may prove beneficial if authentic Stars of David are exhibited. The operative word in this case is authentic.
