No, Dachau tabs are late war.


An earlier pattern is this one (RZM Supplier 64), issued shortly after Demjansk. In the period photos it can be easily confused with the Dachau pattern, but they are not the same

as i have said i'm very happy with it.I do llike the (RZM Supplier 64) skull tabs,Just out of interest does anyone have in their collection the exact tab as the one i posted with rzm paper tag?.

Yes, therefore I used that particular wording (i.e. “An earlier” instead of “The earlier”)

I agree close.. but no sigar IMO.
I truely believe these aren't only late war dachau tabs. The thread and the wool is diffrent.
I owned a set before purchased on the collectors guild and I saw one back for sale on the forum in 2008 if I remember well.

I will keep searching for more examples

But if I underzstand you correctly you think this is a Dachau tab with a RZM label added later?

Barzini that is a very nice collection indeed.Love the skulls,I would also like to see frnts of your foreign volunteer tabs.Do you have any uniform removed FV tabs?.
Kurt i do hope you can find pics of the version i have,It would be nice to think i have something slightly harder to find than the standard dachau skull tab.
