I just want to share some of my Dutch Legion items, especially my latest acquisition a rare Dutch NSB memorial plaque.

WOW!! That motorsports badge (is that the correct description?) is incredibly rare. According to Ailsby there are only a handful of originals that were dug up on an airfield in Berlin. I think Weitze has a ground dug one for sale. Lovely collection!

Hi Patrick,

I don't think the badge is that rare compared to the NSB Memorial plaque.
The badge has been referred to as the NSKK Honor badge. I have some information relating to it in my web page on Dutch Awards:

Rene isn't the triangle with the wolf hook for the WA (Weer afdelingen) instead of the dutch legion?

Hi Volkbert,

The arm badge with the yellow wolf hook was also worn by Dutch volunteers attached to the NSKK.

Very good item, the motor badge is I think on a par or just below the plaque as to rarity. The silver Motor badge is extreemly rare.
