Hello, yes the dot 44 camo uniforms were made primarly in hbt-linen weave and/or cotton.also working uniforms were made in that material.the percentage of spur rayon linen changed dramatically with the progressing of the last years of the war (1944-45) turning in much more economical materials instead of the duck cotton that was used at the early stages.

I am still in the process off finishing my SS HBT full mannequin, I am just waiting to find a set of ankle boots, and to change the arms to a set of fexible arms with realistic painted hands from the guy who makes those unreal silicon heads that Fred posted on his SS mannequin. I did post this up a year ago but it was just the jacket at the time, also I was very lucky in pick up this HBT tunic with everything original to the jacket the only thing was that the pith on the left collar tab was missing and I replaced it.

Not sure that the Waffen SS has the WH 4 pockets jacket (42 or 43) and the keilhose 43 made in HBT in their clothing list !
Maybe in some rare case some some WSS soldiers used the WH models but I think that only the 2 pockets jacket 33 and trousers 33 made in HBT are the sole HBT uniforms worn by the members of the Waffen SS !

Drillich jacket with two holes

Hello to all,
i've restaured this drillich jacket witch was teinted black
it has two holes for the belt..
can it be as the woll jacket, for the SS forces

In essence (in my opinion), drillich was used in pre-war M37 tunics and trousers (often used in combat early in the war), in fatigue uniforms, reed-green wrappers and in the dot 44 uniforms panzer and four pocket).

It was sometimes used in private purchase pieces like this tunic I once owned.
