The cap itself is original , it's a known variation of M43 cap modified
from a M42 schiffen (with a visor addition )

Yes, it is the round eye reproduction of the embroidered trap.

Considering it is hand sewn on, maybe someone added it post-war . The m-42 was not worn by WSS.
