Yes, looks like Heer to me as well. Still a nice display item.

Looks like a nice army tunic, set up like SS. It might have been this way during the war, or be a post-war assembly. Either way, it's an attractive looking set up.

Late war Dachau-find eagle ... cheap, common and as found on many stripped and rebadged tunics, I'm also not keen on the rank pip.

Neither do I based on these photos but probably is due to my laptop..., do believe the insignia are restored and don't really care for the shoulderboards.

Unfortunately this is the so called standard 'three-cut liner' as apposed to the allegedly 'two-cut' SS style.
