    Am i right that these were never made in Bevo?

        thanks guys, i don't collect these but didn't like it too. I am helping a friend out to check some things, hate to bring bad news.

          Yes, you are.
          SD diamonds were either machine-embroidered in gray artificial silk or hand-embroidered in aluminum wire.
          They were not backed with a contoured paper sheet stamped with a funny facsimile of an SS-RZM tag. A real, rectangular SS-RZM paper label was glued, if any, on the reverse.
          BEVo-woven SD diamonds are a relatively new appearance among the phoneys. Albeit unnecessary, the quality of the thread and the backing fabric might be inspected.
