SS single button field cap

i have a lot of concerns.

wool
lining
thread and discoloration
sewing on flaps
reinforce

I like the wool, buttonhole and button look fine, liner material is correct though the size stamp looks a little off (nice and dark for such a worn cap).

What kind of bias tape does it have on the flap curves?

I wouldn't throw this one out just yet...

I thing that thete is now tape inside the flap couvers, if I understand corectly.
