    Beautiful original and early ring.

Would love to know who that Lorenz was.

Nice '30s style ring with a desirable date significance, ,,Unternehmen Kolibri".

Im no expert on these rings.. but i somehow remember the name Lorenz and a lot common fake rings from the east.

just an observation..is it normal to have such a hard worn ring with nearly no detail on the outter side, to have still such detail inside engraving??

lets keep the fingers crossed that its the real deal

I do not like the Himmler signature on the inside of the ring at all.

Really, even with that horrible joint line?? If it is real, someone must have had it resize and not very proffesional at it.

agree here totally.seam is thicker compared to known originals.

Lorenz is the most faked name found in these rings...

Crapola! This one, like ALL TK rings ,to save redundancy and shilling possibilities ..MUST have the DB COA.....only, and those who don't insist on that prior to posting or purchase, may just be running a new test ring here, not saying you are doing that, but we all know how well they fake these now...as even the wear is not right, not to mention the hand engraving. Nice 50.00 ring for wearing for fun if it fits....it gets no cigar from me. Sorry. Thorsten should purchase it , since he likes it.

Yes, it is......even on a well worn ring the engraving still remains well detailed because protected by wearer finger

Sometimes such rule do not apply on ground dug rings, but this is not the case.

By the pics I'd vote for a good one.

I think more detailed pics (much clearer and closeup) are needed. This one would probably have to have a hands on inspection to determine the originality.
I still don't like the joint line. Ron

I would certainly not hesitate - especially if SS-Obergruppenführer Werner Lorenz might have been honoured with this one.

The only way to know who was the recipient, too many Lorenz got the ring.

                            Hi Guys,
I am also not an expert on these rings, but it came from the son which name is also LORENZ. That ring came together with other medals and badges of the wearer. So a private purchase directly from the familiy. I will try to make better pictures and geht more information.

I talked to the son this morning, his father was:
                              G u s t a v L o r e n z, (SS-Obersturmbannführer ) born 19. 02. 1907 in Reichenberg .
I will get a picture next week !
