Dot pattern Camo tunic ???

I picked this up today at a small gunshow, as with most shows light is terrible but everything looked good in poor light.


I did notice that the buttons were missing from the shoulder board even though the strap are still there, thread remnants still there from removed buttons. No ink anywhere that I can find. No glow with black light on fabric or stitching.
After getting it home and taken looking closer I can see where SS eagle was removed from sleeve {shown in one photo}.
So far I haven't found the normal red flags, so please have at it is she a good one?

By the look of the buttons and outside it looks worn, but under the arms/inside it looks extremely 'clean'. Maybe it's the photos, but that would raise a red flag for me. Is there any staining inside?

The tunic has a musty smell most likely from basement , the collar snap and buttons show signs of being around a damp environment .
Buttons are not what I would call worn , just poor storage.

I took that into consideration when looking at lack of wear. I was leaning toward an unissued piece.

I, don't like the interior,, lining tissue, also the dots look to similar !!!
