Tried this before, but the pictures were bad. The top side is faded...the under side is ....? Red or lighter? These were shot in normal light. Thanks for any ideas...

It can sometimes be difficult to determine the exact colors of waffenfarben due to age and fading over time, but it appears to be red to me.

They were taken without a flash, in the average lighting of the room. I took some outside, but the colors were to faded looking. It does look more red. For all the years I have had it, I considered it a panzer board, and only recently did I think to look underneath, as I was going to sell it.
