Opinion on M43 2 Holes jacket

Not one for me either.... look at the button holes.

Not sure if an SS-BW M43 tunic should have the chest darts under the pocket flaps. And the buttonholes are terrible--never seen any this bad before. The belt hook eyelets straps made from the lining fabric also is suspect; aren't they usually made from canvas? I'd pass.

As I mentioned earlier this piece has issues, I would pass. I will say fix 5 or 6 details and this would pass as original. I count 5 problems as obvious and hands on would probably show more. These I think are same artist as some SS stug wraps floating around the last 5 or so years. They are learning quickly.

The wraps that you never liked have right button holes and totally different back of collars. With the xceptions of dome fakes woth rayon nom hbt lining easy to spot.

Viva, I know two people who have the reece machines to produce the correct button holes not imcluding those I dont know about, well done button holes are no longer hard to produce. Ive seen them in action and a skilled operator can produc fairly flawless work.As to this piece and the wrappers Many use original wartime italian hbt lining, its been used on fake ss boards for years and is out their in quantity. Ive handled two of the stug wraps I dont like and they are all made the same way, (rear collar construction also like this M43) and appear in a quantity that for me is very skeptical, however if you like them that's fine. I dont.

I don't understand wich ones of stug wrap emerged didn't like.
There are at least 3 type presents slight difference.

- recently more common "117" with some lines in rear collar, difference on the cross (larger rectangular piece of lining)

- unmarked or marked with 6/525 are quite similar to 117 more lines on back collar and a lot of triangle, moreover with some difference on the construction such as the 2 internal flaps holed

- very rare Wien Lago or Betr. Ra. wrap (same construction), large triangle on the back 2 lines of stitching on bottom and one 2/3 cm upper,

I dont like the 117's. Ive handled three in person. They are just not for me. I could be wrong, however that was my impression at the time.

What i don't like on 117 is the back of collar. The famous rows. However there are ither difference with betr.ra. Or wien lago stug. Did you ever seen a betr.ra. Stug? Do you have pics?

Oh my, real crrrp. The wool is wrong, as almost always the case. Notice the construction: pocket lineup, button holes, under collar. Surprized its not on the estand... testing the waters?
