Estonian shield and SS Polizei cuff titles are fakes.

Can't comment on the shield but I don't like the cufftitle one bit. The weave and text look like the mid 70's fakes, the label doesn't fit with that theory though.

Look good to me. With the following exceptions.I cannot make out the weave on the CT. It would help to see a close up of the weave and certainly the machine embroidery, to see Ian's point that is 70s.

Why do you consider the Estonian shield a fake?

                              Cuff Title

I keyed in SS Polizei Cuff Title in the Search function and came across this cuff up for discussion. I believe it is of the same manufacturing technique as the one being discussed in this thread. I would call your attention to the “z” in Polizei. Notice on the lower part of the “z”, that there is no serif. Also, on the “v” in Division; the serifs on the “v” do not go outside the top of the letter. These two anomalies are present in the cuff title being discussed here and the cuff in the link provided below:
                              http://dev.wehrmacht-awards.com/foru...+division+cuff

For comparison, I have included two images of SS-Polizei Division EM RZM cuff titles from Gordon Williamson’s German Military Cuff Bands 1784-Present, 1998, Page 207; and Angolia’s Cloth Insignia of the SS, 2nd Edition, 1989, Page 317.

Please note the differences in the z, v, and also the lower tail of the s in Division from the two cuff titles discussed.

Last, I also am very leery of the RZM tag.

I would stay away from this cuff title.
