SS camo sleeve rank

All,
A question which I have never quite been able to solve....were the camo rank bars and leaves worn on both sleeves of smocks or just one? I have seen pics with a single one on either arm.
Also, were they worn on the reverse autumn side?

These camo rank bars were rarely ever worn on smocks as smocks lack a collar,
so the tunic collar would already display the rank! (designed like that...serves that purpose)

This photo is an exception (probably only on the left sleeve) and the rank again is already clearly shown with the exposed collar insignia.

SS Camo parkas, coveralls (even shirts) : for sure on the left sleeve is the reg I believe...
( but possibly also done on both sleeves)

In the WH you see these often applied on both sleeves!

I agree WH and LW usually on both sleeves, Waffen SS on left sleeve only (with possible exceptions)

There was a photo posted a few days ago of an award ceremony for SS Pnz-Gren Regt 26 and the recipient had the SS-Uscha rank strip on the left sleeve of his 'Dot' tunic right below the sleave eagle.
