          Thanks for the help gents.

What year was this particular CT issued?

I was reading "cloth insignia of the SS" and noticed a couple that look identical, but were issued in different years.

          Regards
          Samir

Gents, thanks for chiming in. All help is appreciated.

I did a little research and if i'm not mistaken this particular CT was issued in November 1935 as it has the inscription in aluminum thread where as the 1939 version had the inscription in a silver-gray thread, but both were used until the end of the war???

This particular type of paper label was introduced during 1938 and identical unissued examples were found by the armful (literally) at the SS-BW at Dachau.

The Flat wire Deutschland cuff title in gothic lettering was introduced earliest 1936 and possibly 1937. At least from what I have seen. It back then had the cloth rzm tag. About 1938 it changed to papertags. From the start of 1939 all SS insignias had paper tags. Before the flat wire cuff it was the hand embroidered cuff for officers.
If you refer to D cuffs as of 1939 and later to be in grey thread i.e. enlisted cuffs I think thats wrong. Enlisted is enlisted and they can be found with the earlier Rzm cloth tag, hence early dates.
Some individuals continued to use the gothic style into early, mid and late war. Regulations were not strictly obeyed.

and becose of that we see today so many "D" officer tunics.

by the way the title in question is a nice original.

Well I already paid for it, so I hope it is mine! Should be in the mail I hope. I noticed it had not been marked sold, but he is a longtime member so I think it was just an oversight
