What tab had a protractor and a star like the one pictured bottom left of the photo?

Its not a collar tab...its a "Raute" = specialist's sleeve (trade) insignia!
Nice lot with many Dachau finds!

Yes its a sleeve diamond for Fachführer and Fachunterführer with the SS-Wirtschafts- und Verwaltungshauptamt (Gruppe Bauwesen)

It's the raute for the SS Economic and Administration Head Office (p. 102/103 vol.1 of Bender's U.O. & H of the W-SS)

Sadly apparently there wasn't room for it in the Beaver/Bando book ?

I wondered if thats what it was. Thanks. Yes, the vet helped liberate Dachau and there are many more items that I think also came from Dachau.
