                    The "Flamen" shield is so wrong that it could actually be a period piece...as in "a period mistake"...
                    IMO a faker would do his homework and use black yellow only.
                    This one is wrong but does have the red/yellow/black Belgian colors incorporated in the design.
                    I read somewhere that many shield designs (BeVo style) were made in Germany for freiwilligen (approved or unapproved designs)
                    and never distributed...for whatever reason, either rejected all together or with mistakes (like this one) and not circulated.
                    Could be a period screw up!
