i can't tell you on year of manufacture of eagles but would say they would be fine on all wartime tunics

This BeVo eagle is original for sure. As others stated. However you asked a question in which peroid this eagle was used or BeVo eagls in general? It is akind of hard to judge because period pics are not that clear.
This particular style of Bevo eagle I would date from ca 1942 and onwards until the end. How unscientifical it might be. IMO.
