TK tab (and visor insignia) for opinions

Those belong to a friend. For sure the visor insignia are fakes, but what about the collar tab?

The piping looks like the 'silk' that was used on cufftitle borders, it doesn't appear to be metallic at all ?

Eagle and skull

The eagle's pins have been replaced but the skull looks to be the unmarked style which is similar to but not made by Deschler.

The eagle is fake, but was a real fooler from the front. I thought is was a mint aluminum Deschler at first. Perhaps Chris M. knows of this one. The skull is a buffed up unmarked type as you said. The three pieces of insignia have really been played with.

Yes, the eagle is a fake. Peter, I'm sure that you remember the fake eagle that I bought at the SOS show when I met you a couple years ago and I showed it to you there. Mine was well aged and looked like CupAl. Anyway, this is the exact same fake eagle, but was not done quite as nicely.
I have seen a few others floating around since then.
I would have to say that these are probably the most convincing fake SS eagles that I have ever seen, but the head is still quite easily distinguishable and the wreaths are a bit sloppy. Mine is unmarked.

As for the skull, it appears to be the same as the other unmarked skulls
of this pattern, although this one may have been touched up. I never found enough evidence to satisfy myself to fully except this type of skull as 100% original and therefore, I do not own one of these. However, I have handled several of them over the years, and they are interesting and quite possibly original.

Doc I agree.
High end repro tab for my view, glad they show always the same details.
