UGLY repro totenkopf,they haven't even tried to reproduce the welt surround ! As for the cap itself I fear the worst,but we'll see what the real experts say.

yes it s a repro even the color of the wool field cap doesnt fit the field grey or mouse grey they used at the time, it almost has a synthetic look to it.
stay away from it.

The best way is to stay online on the forums and learn... Im here one hour in average every evening and now I can actually tell the difference between the fakes and original ones in some cases. Not in all for sure... But along with the studying of my own collection and lots .... LOTS.. of time here Im getting better....
