    Edelweiss patch help please

    Has anyone seen this edelweiss patch before? Is it for the military or non military? It's old and doesn't glow. It is 2 1/4 in high and 2 in. at widest point.

    It appears to be old, possibly for a garrison hat? (due to size) Not anything I've seen prior , although well made.
