Tarnjacken in palmenmuster
Palm is a roller printed pattern.
Cheers[/QUOTE]
When I talked with the late Dr JF BORSARELLO in the 80's he said that he was unsure that the palm pattern was a roller printed pattern (despite the repeating patterns) because from all the tarnjacken he has had in his hands (a great number), he never found the normal crosses and lines that you can find printed on all the other patterns used to cut the fabric to make zeltbahn !
If you have some examples to show, please share ! thanks

That's utter nonsense. No roller printed pattern has cutting lines.

big mistake
I apologise, I'm confused I did a big mistake ! I've read again the letters from Dr JF Borsarello where he just said that he never seen cut lines and crosses on tarnjacken in palmenmuster ! I did a mix with an another letter of him . And yes the cut lines are from hand screened patterns !
