Panzer wrap

Hi Guys

This is well out of my usual field- is there any chance this wrap is a period SS or Heer one? The rayon lining looks quite good. It comes with this very strange hand embroidered EM eagle on it.

Among many other things:

Very crude stitching. Looks like it was sewn with a low-end home machine that had a tough time with material of even this relatively light weight.

What color is that thread, anyway? Why not use black thread? There was certainly no shortage of it.
