    uniform SD and insigna

    hallo everibody
    i am new here and my english it is not well
    just i ask
    which is the correct model uniform for a uniform SD enlisted man /NCO
    ( m37verfugungtruppe - m36 -m40) ?
    the collar patches have runes at the right or not ?
    i found SD diamond to morigi and the shoulder board named for SD
    it is correct?

        All the enlisted uniforms types that you list could be correct for SD depending on the time frame but open collar tunics in general were more charectaristic for SD personnel. Many foreign SD members wore a variety of uniforms including standard Waffen SS combat tunics with SD insignia. (like many Baltic members)
        Early in the war they wore Waffen SS like shoulderstrap insignia but I believe in or around 1942 they switched to polizei style shoulderstraps with black inner core. That's when they also stopped wearing armed forces style collar tresse (NCO's).... So it all depends on the time frame that you are trying to depict. Black tabs on both collars is indeed the norm (+rank pips )
