I don't think they are fake either. Something tells me that all these issues are all from period and too sophisticated for fake

    1. Incorrect "B" RZM paper tag tax code
    2. Unparallel runes
    3. Unusual pips attachment (with only one prong) and their uneven wear
    4. Different silver edge cords

      Hello all,

A while ago on the forum I saw a digital template somebody made with lines showing the angle and shape of SS Officer rune tabs, it is similar to this image I am posting showing the parallelograms to distinguish proper rune width and show variation. Sorry for the run-on sentence.

Surely the tab that started this thread would deviate from the norm if compared to the digital template somebody here made. Does anyone have this template saved or know what the heck I'm even talking about?

I just want to compare and look into the slight variation of the norm. The bottom image is another I found this morning that points out what's wrong with another tab, but does anyone have an image or can they make one for me showing what's right on an authentic tab? Does that make sense what I'm looking for?

Sometimes they broke and the one that started this thread is original . Probably one of the arms holding the S's together tore slightly when being sewn. There comes a time when you can just look at them and see.
