Hello Paul indeed the eagle is IMO a good one
If you,ve better pics of the skull I can also give an opinion

This cap and both the insignia look fine. I think the bevo eagles sometimes get worn from the helmet being worn over the sidecap.

That is a very good original cap. It is common to find the eagles worn away like this on SS caps because of sitting right on the sharp edge of the front. When folded into the kit bag, the eagle wore away against the bag. Also, sometimes the skulls wore in this way.
