Hopefully we will get a good report and pics on the Totenkopfring. Thanks, Ron

I did see 2 high quality repros with the name Bittrick or Bittrich or something like that which were made real well and were quite convincing. Being such if these are now being made this close to the originals, it will continue to erode the value of this section of the market even further, as the frauds continue to improve.

Are you using that name because I own the original? I would be really surprised to see those repros!! I am sure if those 2 really existed, I would see pics of them. HR's have and always been a specialized item. Only a select few will ever own originals. I believe the Frank ring (which you owned or own) had too much controversy and when they are like that, they will suffer.

JR, its weird isnt it how things slide in and out of vogue. The TK ring for example, really desirable and very cool but produced in fairly big quantity so not actually 'rare' went from fairly inexpensive to over 10k in less than 10 years and now corrected to a mid level or slightly above mid.You would have thought with the release of the TK book from Craig Gottlieb[ I know it got some stick but I enjoy owning a copy] it would have helped cement its place price wise, much as TW's SS Edged weapons book did in the early 2000,s. What happened to the talk of TW's SA Book because that might help fuel the desire for SA's back up there.
The train eagles as well, I see them a fair bit less than the heady heights that followed and coincided with your book.
I still have a TK ring, a worn and fairly 'cheap' one but I like it, researched.Attached Files
