Is this SS? Yard sale find today

Hello forum..

I got this patch and other items today yard saling.

the guy said his dad was in WWII and passed away a while back.

The battle flag was covered in medals/badges.. but.. he did want to sell those.. and took them off. He missed the sports badge, and couldn't take the patch off since it was sewn on.

The collar patch looks SS to me? Any idea what it is?

he also had a Hungarian pistol of some kind... but let me have the holster?

there are three German cigarette cases. One has writing to it, and other has the SS bolts scratched in... but... fairly meaningless since I assume anybody can do that.

cool haul...
imagine how "typical" this would have been to find at a US yard sale in the
50s, 60s and early 70s!
I remember seeing in early 70's stuff like this around my town (I had the eye for TR by age of 6 ), but I was too young to even have an allowance yet.
