    Please follow the Arrows to the muddy casting areas and look at the top of the SS Runes for the tell-tale signs of pitting.

    Now look at the one laying on the Wood, clearly an original.

      The "sharpness" of the runes alone compared to an original is a give-away here.

      Not to mention the two areas the Doc pointed out..

                  The inscription on the back of this medal should be inspected carefully.It is easy to note that a flawn is present at the ¨T ¨from TREUE.This does not occur in original examples.

                          CORRECT ! I thought we had this worked out. The medal in question is a post war copy. The game is over.
