Your totenkopf is a "dud"! Material should be 'copper/tin'. The "cracking" in the crania is wrong to start off with. The "bones" are not fashioned properly at their ends. The "pins" are soldered in the wrong places as well!

Even though it looks as though it has a 'pushed-in' mush, it doesn't conform to the original piece. Aside from the front as the 'give-away', the pins on yours are in the 'second' bone & should be in the 'TOP' bone. Also, your skull does not look to be constructed of 'copper/tin' or 'brass/tin' construction & yours shows a 'buggered-up' edge around the lower portion of the piece itself. The originals were machine-stamped only & from 'copper/tin' or 'brass/tin' & were really nicely done, were thin & never ended-up with that 'buggered-up' edging that is showing on your piece.
