Nice pair of boots Pascal.
Everything's ok for me. They are brand new and unworn, I'd even say an unfinished pair of boots. No footings and no iron.
Probably set aside at one time during the war because of its huge size.

I think that they are 100% original. Many have posted for the last decade that the German "military" did not use the system of sizing shown in these boots. I guess first we should define military, but there is zero doubt that this type of size marking was used in most if not all SS RZM pattern contract boots and most if not all political and para military contracted boot and all regulation (albeit private purchased) military officer's boots. So take care in what you hear/read.

I also think that these boots are fully finished. Many boots were supplied and worn without heel irons, nails and the extra double half sole......not to mention that many types of shoes and boots were designed with box toes not the oft mentioned "shark" toes that many seem to demand as a sign of WWII originality....many marching boots during that period had the rounded or box toe.

I believe these are set up to be light duty or walking out high boots......that simple....this is exactly how such boots and high shoes for this purpose should have been and were in fact finished.

Yes, to me this is what originals should look like. I've seen a lot of humped-up ones lately!
