That one is definitely real, but it has suffered heavily from aluminum oxidation from the ground. Still, it's cool to have dug it up. Congrats! Chris

Hello Brian, I did find this scull in the forest around Halbe about 40 miles under Berlin. I was there with a friend in 1996 to do some metaldetector search. Near Halbe was the last battle with the Russians in april 1945 before the fall of Berlin. In the big woods around Halbe have been found hughe amounts of beautiful military items and a lot of dead soldiers that were killed in action. After the fall of the Berlin wall in 1989 a lot of people from Western Europe went overthere to do some metaldetector search. I did not find that much, however the few items I did find were very nice. I have enclosed some pictures. Have a nice look, Paul

I did find these rings very near the SS scull. One of the ring is heaving the initials A.H......
