                    He might have survived the war as there's no date of death in John Moore's ''Führersliste der W-SS'' given. I also checked the registry at the Volksbund and his name didn't come up. His last assignment, from Jan. 1945 was with the schw.Beob.Battr.508. This was probably only recorded in his primary WP. I also noted something interesting info on page 32. He might be involved in the partisan war or just a mopping up action in Lithuania as the word Säuberung came up there. But, it also has a very bad connotation associated with the holocoust if I'm correct. A very nice WP with a photo to boot. Thanks for sharing!
