Hello all, I just came across this picture taken in 1946 by Lt. Grotzinger of the USAF, who is my friends recently deceased Grandfather. As my friend lives just off the picture to the left in Kreutzburg, he was amazed that his Grandfather lived so close by. Also, we had both just finished "Berlin in Todeskampf 1945" by Mabire and had realized that the The French counter attack on the 28th of April from the Rathaus Neukolln took place just at the top left of this photo. I will post some photos from his Tempelhof days when I get ahold of them later this week. One includes a young German boy pissing on a wall titled "Young SS trooper caught in the Act." Other photos feature A Jagdpanther in the woods to the east (Possibly of the Wiking Kampfgruppe sent to relieve Manteuffel at Seelow??)
I have also included a link for a much larger picture if you are interested.
