The item is an Ebay auction and the seller refuses to provide more pics or guarantee authenticity. He seems to know what a genuine ring should cost but not an "estate find" such as this.

Do you have a link? Definately red flag if the seller refuses to post additional pics or info. Sounds like he knows it is not real.

if we could gurantee authenticity it’d be selling for $5000 or 10,000

we do not know, therefore it is listed at price of reproduction. we just bought it in a lot of other items.

I see it has been relisted for the highest offer on the previous auction.Looks like he is pushing for a high offer. I emailed him twice telling him it was a repro and of course no reply. He knows it is fake and still doesn't identify it as such. Total dishonesty in my book! Ron
