Certainly not standard construction or materials and therefore suspect and undesireable.

I am the seller of the armband that is pictured here.
I sold it in good faith that it was the 'Real McCoy'!
Here is the thread that I showed it in:
            http://dev.wehrmacht-awards.com/foru...d.php?t=603169

If I am going to put something on the E-Stand & I have the slightest doubt, I put it in the appropriate Forum, with pics, for comments.
Those who don't like these armbands will not change their minds.
The bottom line is....I follow the rules of the Forum.
I wll refund the money back to my friend. No ifs, ands or buts about it. Credibility and honesty is what it is all about!

I am not sure it is bad. The cotton version SS armbands have always been tough. Take off the black stripes and no one dispute it being an original NSDAP armband.

If the buyer saw the original thread and purchased it based on that information, why has it been posted again???? Here's one in my collection. Yours looks better IMO. Peter

Because I screwed up and forgot to mention it in the ad. I don't believe he saw the original thread. My fault....mea culpa.

So I take it OTHER than RZM marked cotton arm bands,no others are period? What I should say is all others cannot be trusted??Thats what alot of people seem to be saying. And thats aload of crap.Remember its MUCH easier to identify a wool armband being good because RZM was making most of them and were in full effect during the tunic years, and teh little black tags and white paper ones are simple. But during the early Brownshirt days alot were home or cottage made, and arent as easy to identify either way.Do a burn test on the thread, and look at the material, construction and judge for yourself, comparing to a textbook non RZM cotton armband is ludicrous as one doesnt exist!! And calling everyone bad because teh construction is a "bit strange to you" or a bit sloppy, like teh swastika ribbon doesnt align with teh planets is simply retarded.Someones blind grandmother Im sure made a bunch of these!Lesson is yes alot of these are hard to tell, youve got to be happy with it,but down drop teh gavel on one because it doesnt concur with your chemistry set,or blueprints.

I guess what I SHOULD have said is "Because it's not the standard wool construction it is harder for me to authenticate and so therefore more suspect and less desireable to me"
