For those of you that have not seen the newly delivered publication by Ulrich of England I will start out by saying it is simply unbelievable and a must have. It is loaded with historical context on the organizational aspects of the Allgemeine SS and ties it brilliantly together to capture the overall SS culture & ideologies. Each page is packed full of high quality pictures of both period photo's as well as current pictures of numerous high end one of a kind items. I paid $100 for mine unfortunately and have since discovered you can now purchased it from Amazon at the link below for $60.00.

PS. It also has the complete break down of SS cuff titles and how they worked in relations of where the soldier was stationed, what they did, ect. It list all the districts in a real great, easy to understand flow chart and has given me a much greater appreciation & understanding of cuff titles.

I shall be looking at acquiring the Mark Bando/Beavor/Shea book before I cross Ulric's palm with any of my silver I think.

I hope you guys like it. This book has provided hours of reading entertainment for me and definetly represents the ultimate wish list in relation to SS items. One picture that really got my attention is the heavy doors at Welsberg castle during the period. I would love to have those in my collection. Simply amazing.

I've just ordered two copies, one for me, and the other for my first collector-friend that asks, "can I borrow this?"

              thanks

              thanks Shawn!
just ordered it. By the way, Barnes & Noble cant get guarantee they can get it yet, so Amazon is it at this time in USA.

Am I safe in assuming the book will showcase some of the more interesting items Ulric actually owned over the years?

are there any "SS MK boxes" in the book?

This came in today off Amazon, must say I was a bit surprised and the content is extensive and lots of pictures to boot. Nice job from the look of it.
