Hi,
A danish SS veteran I hav e known for several years passed away a few months ago. Yesterday I got a call from his widow, she had been cleaning up and found a small box with stuff I could come and pick up.
He served from 1941-45 and had a long frontline career, serving with the Division Wiking and later Division Nordland untill he fought his way out of Berlin in 1945. After being wounded in 1943 he sent to the Stammkompanie at the Junkerschule in 1943 were I guess he took this spoon as a souvenir.
The spoon is marked SS/T J.SP. and the maker is "CROMARGAN"
Any idea what the J.SP. would mean?
